Some time people assume things abpout other ppl. she may have thought you were being rude to her.
You are so right if she was raised in UK she would know how daily routine could even make you for get your own self.
And I would say timing was bad too all happened when you didn't know each other.
BUT
on the other hand she could be a B too, so never mind about her.
