Naiki aur pooch pooch

There’s a saying, no good deed goes unpunished - do you agree or disagree with this sentiment?

Have you ever done a “good deed” and instead of being appreciated for your actions, ruined relationships or gotten into trouble as a result? Please tell us more.

Re: Naiki aur pooch pooch

pretty common.

think of hot june in Karachi temperature topping 45 degrees, out of courtesy/naiki you stop ur car beside girl waiting for bus after college and ask "aeyee aap ko ghar choor doon" - aisee baateen sunne pareen ge k darya kya samander main daal ker nikel lai banda :)

Re: Naiki aur pooch pooch

happens to me everyday on GS

Re: Naiki aur pooch pooch

LOL , the real mahavra for this occasion is naiki kar darya main daal.

Naiki aur pooch pooch is when you want to do some good deed but you ask the beneficiary before you do that deed then they say this.

Like you ask some thirsty person would you like a glass of Rooh Afza , then the will say Naikee aur pooch pooch.

Re: Naiki aur pooch pooch

I like to believe if one has pure intentions behind a good deed, and if it results in someone taking it the wrong way or getting upset about it, well no big deal.

Re: Naiki aur pooch pooch

I feel like I'm getting my reward for doing some good deeds 10+ years ago. So ya I agree.

Re: Naiki aur pooch pooch

It happens often but u cnt let that stop u from doing good things! As Muslims, our belief is that no good deed of ours is ever gone unnoticed and unrewarded by Allah, whether he rewards us here in this world or hereafter that varies from person to person.
