Re: Naheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeinnnnnnn!!!

Why would they cancel that? It was always nominated for Emmy awards.

Re: Naheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeinnnnnnn!!!

exactly...it was an acclaimed show...it even won an emmy...

Re: Naheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeinnnnnnn!!!

It's a dumb show with a bunch of retards in a dysfunctional family. Dumbasses, the whole lot of them.

Re: Naheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeinnnnnnn!!!

lussi.

Congratulations. Now you can actually ask the cast to perform live in front of you. Apparently you are the only person, in addition to the Emmy judges, who actually see the show.

Re: Naheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeinnnnnnn!!!

sehar…thats exactly what makes it so hilarious…
faisal…i tell u…if i was rich enough..id take over the show and continue production..maybe it would go to HBO…

and to all who dont like the show..what can i say..u just cant teach good taste :bummer:

Re: Naheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeinnnnnnn!!!

I never got the big deal about the show personally, but I know a lot of people who are going to be pissed off at the news (even if they all knew it was coming).

Re: Naheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeinnnnnnn!!!

They are canceling it obviously because of low ratings. These networks are in a business of making money not in pleasing some ikka dukka fans. like lussi. I’ve tried to watch few episodes so to see what’s all the fuss about it but sorry that show never grew on me. Like someone said it is a show about dysfunctional family which is not funny at all and a pain to watch.

Re: Naheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeinnnnnnn!!!

as i said earler..u just cant teach good taste....what kinda comedy do u guys like? desperate housewives?

Re: Naheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeinnnnnnn!!!

Yummmm…

j/k

`Arrested Development' may not be done

TRADE PAPERS REPORT POSSIBLE SUITERS INCLUDE SHOWTIME, ABC

Arrested Development'' is down, that's true. But it might not be out just yet.
Rumors have been circulating for some time that another network might pick up the Emmy-winning series if Fox cancels it after this season. The network has ordered only 13 episodes of
Arrestedthis season -- industry standard for a full season is 22 -- and ratings, never huge to begin with, have fallen with the show's move to Monday nights.
Now that speculation appears to have gained some weight, with both showbiz trade papers reporting that pay-cable network Showtime has expressed interest in picking up the series should Fox let it go. Variety also says that ABC might want the show as well.
There's still a long way to go before any sort of deal could be done, however. For starters, Fox has yet to say officially whether it's canceling
Arrested Development,'' and until that happens, producers 20th Century Fox TV and Imagine TV can't take the series anywhere else.
Cost could also be a factor. With a cast of nine regulars (plus narrator/executive producer Ron Howard), extensive sets and a single-camera shooting schedule, Arrested Development'' doesn't come cheap.
Reports indicate that Showtime is the more ardent suitor for the show. The network has given its original series a big push in the past year, earning seven Emmy nominations for the drama
Huff'' and picking up three Golden Globe nods this week for ``Weeds,'' including one for best comedy series. Ratings also wouldn't be as big a concern on Showtime, as its revenue is driven by subscriber fees.
