Nagging pains

Lower back hurts. All the time.

Maybe I need to get back on the exercise program. Lose some weight…

Two simple exercises:

1) First thing before getting out of bed........lift your right knee and bring it by grabbing it with your arm as close as possible to your chest, then straighten it out, do the same with your left knee.......this alighns your lower back!

2) When standing straight up in a warm shower, have the water flow over your back, and then slowley lift one knee (No bending over) at a time and bring it close with your hands up to the chest!

this should help you realighn the lower back..............Insha Allah will help!

sounds like soft tissue injuries to your cervical spine...try getting a few sessions of physiotherapy!!

I have the same issue Ms Nik :( It started with the pregnancy of my 2nd boy who was a whopper and never got any better no matter what I tried. ONE thing that helps...My hub got me a car with heated seats. :) lol it is GREAT, I could drive ALLLLLLLL day long! and actually I have done that. I burned my butt driving from New york to South carolina lol. It was still worth it tho, my back felt great the whole time I was there even with a burnt butt.

Niki do what ever is safe , remember you only have one back!!
First gently touch you feet while standing. That will tell you if some thing is wrong. Make sure you don't have shooting pains in the legs.

in 15 mins when you know its only muscle weakness. Then start working out. Start with walk. And rebuild your strength.

TIP: talking while walking is bad for back!!!!!!!

ok, sure. I can certainly se the health benefits here. But shesh. isnt it just SO much easier to go chow down a steak with all the trimmings? Drive home with heated seats on high and heck, you've reached nirvana man.

My knees act up constantly these days (they alternate) .it really scares me, i feel i am too young to have knee pain :(

massage, warm bath and also yoga excersies and white jasmine tea will help.

Have you had a massage done on you before? Massage is a big reliever in eliminating the back pain and releasing your core pressure points, as Dushwari indicated.

Also, how effective is white jasmine tea in reducing back pain?

But today I tried the exercises mentioned by SindSagar above. Really helped.

I have the exact problem, pain in the knees (alternating)
and I also thought I was really young to start having
knee problems. :bummer:

Mine hurt mostly going up the stairs or getting up from a sitting position.
It’s like a sharp pain that quickly comes and goes.

How about you?

Time to go to a chiropractor they are good for just lower back pain nothing else.

Poor posture can lead to back pain, inhibit your breathing and fatigue your muscles. Practice good posture.
