“Wherever I find the opportunity for growth I try to make most of it. Lawn had a big market and I’m doing a capsule collection which will just be launched in Karachi to test the response,” said Hussain.

She will be showcasing her collection at the Marriott Hotel. With 15 designs, the aesthetic for the lawn follows the trends of embroidered necks and chiffon dupattas.

The outfits are very prettily styled and the prints would not look that good if they are not stitched in the way as shown in the samples or in the catalogue.

I liked thered one but the fabric of the sleeves is actually a part of the dupatta and I did not want to have a cut up asymmetrical dupatta. Also, the Multi coloured laces at the shirt’s daman and the cuff were not included. Only the patti at the at the neckline and a round embroided disc for the back was being given with the outfit.

The unstitched joars looked pretty simple lying there on the tables with just one printed satin broad patti. Also the chiffon fabric used to make the sleeves and shirt front of the green outfit was not a part of the jora.

They also had a promotion where you could register yourself at Park Towers, Forum and Dolmen Mall to get a 10% discount card for day 1 only. The management was quite good.
