Nadeem F. Paracha spews more hatred for Islam

I think Paracha isa bit of a sad case to be honest. His views are far from correct, unrealistic and just another minority viewpoint. It would be better if wrote about something meaningful.

Writers and their followers who think just because Pakistan's less bearded culture pre-1980s is the correct one is sadly mistaken. The 1950s-70's we had just come out of colonial rule and had no longer any reason to ape the british masters. People always seem to paint the 1950s-70's as the "corrrect" Pakistani culture. Why dont peopel refer to pre1840s where most would have had beards?

I dont think theres that many beards in Pakistan btw. Its about time Paracha studied what sigificance in Islam the beard has.

Its ok for him to write in an outside language, why does nt he write in Urdu, Punjabi so the masses he worries about can read it? i he is that concerned about culture why does nt he wear his ancestral clothes rather than western?

He is one of the very loud we hate Pakistan having an Islamic ID but we dont mind it following western values brigade.

Re: Nadeem F. Paracha spews more hatred for Islam

Ok, I read the OP's note, and nothing else, because its such a long and involving thread.

Let me say this: Nadeem Paracha is not anti-muslim or anti-Islam. He is a muslim himself.

He is, quite contrary to OP'S allegations, upholding the name of Islam by trying to point out to us how people have come to manipulate the religion for their own evils. There is no doubt that the beheadings described of Sher Muhammed make Sher Muhammed nothing less than psychotic, as well all know these are very unIslamic behaviors. More like behaviors of a person bit by a rabid dog.

Show me anything from ALL his 'lame' articles, which 'remotely' proves that.

That show how much you know about Islam. There is no Islamic law which requires 4 male witness in case of rape.

In Islam a person's crime is not what he believes, his/her crime is whether he checks on what he/she believes.

Most Pakistanis usually remain silent on the issue of the ban on alcohol and the mostly negative affects that this ban has had on a society in which the consumption of alcohol (among large sections across all classes in both urban and rural areas) remains to be a common occurrence and habit.

Yep, a Muslim advocating removal of ban on alcohol consumption in the country.

In my 30 years in the country, I know 3 people who drink and they are a nuisance to their families. Do I have wrong company, perhaps?

This Paracha guy and his Dawn News are not only pathetic, they are sick and low! Rather scum of this earth!!!

Now he openly discusses drinking alcohol. Shame on Dawn NEws for another garbage piece of writing. You stink Dawn News!!

Tomorrow they will talk about adultery and fornication as being ok… and then too the secular elite or the secular degenerates will make the real Pakistanis digest this crap.
