**Andy Roddick became the biggest casualty of the men’s draw so far at the French Open as he lost 6-4 6-4 6-2 to qualifier Teimuraz Gabashvili.**The American sixth seed saw the match whisked away from him in straight sets by the world number 114 to extend his miserable Roland Garros record.
Roddick’s last-16 defeat by Frenchman Gael Monfils last year was his best performance at the event.
Russia’s Gabashvili will go on to play either Jurgen Melzer or David Ferrer.
