Re: Naat Link
Ya Rasool Allah Madad!
Re: Naat Link
Surely Allah is Bigger, Better, Mightier, and more Powerful and Qadir than Rasoolallah (sas).
Re: Naat Link
**Shirk has nothing to do with the dead or alive.
**The Aqeeda of the Ahle Sunnah wal Jama'at is that to seek the mediation of Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is permissible or allowed by the Shari’ah.
The following verse proves that one can seek a Wasila when approaching Allah Ta’ala. Allah Ta'ala states in the Holy Quran: "O ye who believe! Fear Allah and search for a Wasila (mediation) towards Him and strive in His path on that hope that you will gain refuge." (Part 6, Ruku 10)
The following verse proves that one can seek a Wasila by approaching the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Allah Ta'ala states in the Holy Quran: "And if when they do injustice unto their souls, then O Beloved! They should come to you and then beg forgiveness from Allah, and the Messenger should intercede for them, then surely, they would find Allah most Relenting, Merciful." (Part 5, Ruku 7)
The Ambiya are Wasilas (mediators) for their Ummah in every form and the Wasila of the Ambiya is the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). Hence, the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the Wasila of all mediations, even the Wasila for Hadrat Adam (alaihis salaam). (Tafseer Saadi)
Imam Bukhari(RA) in his Kitaabu Adaabul Mufrad has written that Hazrat Adullah ibn Omar(RA) once suffered from cramp. Someone advised him to rememberthe person whom he loved most. The great Companion then proclaimed loudly: "Ya Muhammad", it is recorded that he was immediately relieved of the cramps.
Imam-e-Mujtahid Sayyidi Abdur Rahman Masoodi(RA) was the grandson of Hazrat Abdullah ibn Masood(RA). He was also a very great Jurist and a Taabieen of high rank. It is said he used to wear a long hat on which were inscribed the words "Muhammad, Ya Mansoor".Substantiating this, Imam Hasheem bin Jameel Az Zaaki(RA) who was among the great Ulema and Muhaddatheen of the time states: "I saw him (i.e. Hazrat Abdur Rahman Masoodi) place a long hat on his head, onit were inscribed the words "Muhammad, Ya Mansoor".
May Allah give us the courage and strength to establish the truth. May He protect our Iman from the evil scholars of shaitan. Ameen.
Re: Naat Link
Who is even comparing the two?
Re: Naat Link
^^
What does that look to you? To me it looks like someone praying to Rasoolallah and asking him for help and hence comitting shirk.
Re: Naat Link
wonder why Allah had so much problem with chrsitians calling out "Ya Isa(as)" when it is so much allowed to call out Ya Muhammad (saw)....
Re: Naat Link
** You need to understand shirk first. Come out of ignorance. **
Ibn Taymiyya and Qadi Shawkani quote the following hadith: 'Abd Allah bin Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with Him, reported that our Beloved Prophet, (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), stated:
“If you ever find yourselves stranded alone in a desolate place or jungle, then say, ‘O servants of Allah! Help me, Allah have mercy on you.’”
[Al-Kalim al-Tayyib, page 69, by ibn Taymiyya, and Qadi Shawkani in Tufhat ad-Dhakireen, page 130. Ibn Sunni, Imam Bazaar, Hafidhh al Hasamim and Imam Nawawi all quote this hadith also in their various books.]
Shaykh al-'Alawi al-Maliki, the Mufti of Makka writes:
"When we ask help from the anbiya and awliya, as a means, it is through their supplication (du’a) that they help us. Take for example the Day of Judgment when the umma will benefit from our Beloved Prophet,
Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa (May Allah bless him and grant him peace). This is called asking for help through the anbiya and awliya and likewise to ask them to make du’a for us can be called help or istishfah or tawasul.
[Ziyarat of the Grave, page 213, by the mufti of Makka, 'Allama Shaykh Muhammad al-'Alawi al-Maliki al-Makki]
Re: Naat Link
All muslims generally agree that shirk is haram, but we all differ on what actually constitutes shirk. Shirk is more a state of mind/belief, hence i dont think you can assume whether someone is associating a partner equal to God simply by kissing a grave, or by praying salah near by. Similarly, Ya Muhammad, Ya Ali for that matter, does not and cannot constitute shirk unless God is completely out of the picture.
You cant simply throw a blanket statement of shirk based on an action or words, as that would merely put you at fault for making false assumptions and serious accusations at another muslim.
Re: Naat Link
Very thought provoking.
I've changed the title of the thread to better represent the discussion.
Re: Naat Link
A crowd of more then 5,000 were addressed by Isa(AS) who told them about the coming of the great Holy Prophet sallallaho alaihi wassalam, on hearing his words the crowd reacted as follows: “Then the crowd lifted their voices saying: ‘O’ God, send us thy messenger. ‘O’(Ya) Muhammad, come quickly for the salvation of the world.” (Gospel of Barnabas, Chapter 97).
Now Isa(AS), who is one of the great Prophets of Allah, did not reprimand his followers for saying “Ya Muhammad”. Nor did he brand his followers as ‘mushriks’.Then who are these Wahhabi mullahs to brand Muslims, who proclaim ‘Ya Muhammad’, as mushriks. Perhaps these wahabi mullahs consider themselves greater in knowledge then Isa(AS).

The Quran and the Ahadith are extinct and extinguished that you had to provide, a reference from Bible.
I have nothing more to say to u, and the website you have picked this stuff from.
May Allaah bless you and protect from evil.

The one in blue, you can read the rules in the religios forum.

Re-read the post and understand the purpose.. It simply states even during the time of Prophet ISA(as) his followers proclaimed YA Muhammad (SAW) and he did not brand them as mushriks. On what basis do these ignorant mullahs call muslims as mushriks? Do they consider themselves more knowledgeable then Isa (AS).
**
**Atleast what I am posting is with complete refrences, rather then simply brand ing muslims as mushriks like some ignorant people here who are not even aware what constitutes shirk.

Ameen
Re: Naat Link
let's forget about if saying "Ya Rasool Allah" is shirk or not. But one thing i don't understand is why do we need call Prophet(SAW) for help? Don't we pray in every sala'h that Ya Allah
Iyyaka naAAbudu waiyyaka nastaAAeenu - Hum sirf TARI hi ibadt kertay hain or sirf TUJI sa hi maded mangtay hain - **Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.** (Surah Al Fatiah, 5)
Yet after reciting this in every sala'h we find the need to ask Prophet(SAW) for help! How sad, isn't it?
Didn't Allah Subhaanhu Wa Ta'ala says in Quran,
When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me **(Surah Al Baqra)
And your Lord says: "Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer)"** (Surah Al Momin, 60)
**
And yet we say, "Ya Rasool Allah Madad" or "Ya Ali Mada"!** Do we have any sense? If a person has any slightest of doubt in Allah's power and he doubts that Allah Ta'ala will not listen to his prayers/duas then that person is a munker of the above aya'hs. Either stop believing in what Allah says in Quran or stop saying those nonsense stuff. Don't make things too complicated please!
Re: Naat Link and the discussion over saying 'ya rasul Allah madad'
let me write it down in my notebook
Re: Naat Link and the discussion over saying 'ya rasul Allah madad'
BROTHER QADRI, I respect your religious zeal and love for Prophet Mohammad pbuh, but arne't you not over doing it??? This stands as close to shirk by calling what you wrote. Shias have mythologized Hazrat Ali r.a. Christians have mythologized Jesus Christ pbuh, which is totally totally wrong, Call ALLAH for Madad or Help, Prophet Mohammad, Prophet Jesus Christ pbuh or Prophet Moses, they were all created by God, so don't do it buddy.
