good question! 
there are two similar sounding words from two different languages here…one is NAAS [noon, alif, seen] in Hindi as in 'satyaNAAS’ which means ‘barbaadii’ and the other word is of Faarsii origin NAAS noon, alif, suaad] which is the shorter version of NASEEB as in ‘naas peeTii’…jiskaa naseeba peeTaa huaa ho ya’nii bad-naseeb.
yeh ek qism kii aurtoN kii gaali hai…it’s a mild gaali though!
