Naan

Hi brothers & siters!

I am a student in a place (Western Kentucky) where there is no Pakistani or Arab shop, where I can get naan.

Does anybody know how to make naan? If so plzzzzz tell me! I miss Pakistan so much!

i often make naan n freeze them coz my kids like them n its convenient to have some in your freezer instead of making evry other day:)
so here goes the recipe

flour...................8 cups
eggs...................3
yeast..................8 grams
oil.......................1/4 cup
water..................to knead

for top.....(optional)
milk...................1/4 cup
sugar.................1 tbsp
sesame seeds.....1/4 cup

soak yeast in warm water(almost 1/2 cup water) n let it rise for 10-15 minutes...........blend it with oil n eggs
combine it with flour n knead with water.......let the dough rise for 1-2 hours
now mix milk ,sugar n sesame seeds in a bowl
make small balls of doughn roll them to make naan .......
beforeplacing naans in oven prick them with fork n brush with milk n sesame seeds mixture.
bake.

you can also cookon a frying panon one side n then turned n cooked on other

it makes around 24 naans
:)
