namaz is farz on us, and it is for our own good!

emmo- first you have to believe that namaz is a very healthy exercise.

fajar- atmosphere is fresh since trees starts giving out oxygen
zahur- it during working hours you take out time for pray
asr- our body temperature and hormone level peak at 6 p.m. so working out for both endurance and building muscle. you also able to overcome your stress (after work, school). this lill exercise also helps you feel hungary.
maghrib- this a time when new angels replaces the old one, and old ones report your all days action. so this namaz do drastically effect your future. (sorry i really dont have better reasoing for this one)
isha- well this in one is obvious :)

A Muslim does not need these kind of motivators. Allah and his messenger (SAW) did not give these kind of motives to believers for praying their namaz. If non believers accept Islam because these kind of hearsay motives but their namaz does not provide them the desired result then what would happen to their eman ?
Yes you can make dua to Allah for all of these worldly benefits after every Namaz but their acceptance in this world is not guaranteed by Allah (SWT) and Rasool Allah ( SAW).
Many of your Duas will not be accepted because only Allah knows what is best for you.

as far as the thread is concerned, I wouldn’t worry about the motivational factors, as defined here, I pray because it is my prime time to communicate directly with the BOSS, ask his forgiveness and also seek HIS help and guidance about my problems and spend some time yapping about the small stuff, big stuff thats bugging me, feel really easy and good after doing that … complexions, money, income, health etc etc dont really matter at that time.

Yes . I do not like if someone tries to come up baseless claims about Islam beyond what is mentioned in Quran and authentic hadees and goes beyond logic.

Well believe It or not....it works with me, without the fair and lovely formula.
But I just need to pray any namaaz and I have that glow in my face.
It sounds weird, par Im no liar :P
