i was just wondering.. does a name have an effect on someone`s ;ife style and stuff.. ive heard so much as a matter of fact happened in my family too.. my elders names one of my cousins as “Ahad” which they propably shudnt have :nono: newayz that cousin of mine who was only 3 months old had two operations already for hernia. some people said its because of the name. Ahad meaning the one which is only for Allah :swt: so they changed the name to Asad.

question being does a name really affect onez being ?? religious point of view .. :konfused:

it is superstition when it comes to changing name to avoid mishaps, yes we are encouraged to use good names, but names will not effect the tragedies, all of the events are already written in the master book.
i cant qoute hadiths or quran now, but will do it asap inshallah....in short, name using good names but dont think that they bring about good luck or bad luck...its from allah only
