Naam lo apne Rab ka jis ne tumhe Payda keeya,
Naam lo apne Rasool ka jis ne tumko jahanam se bachaya,
Naam lo apne ma bap ka jinho ne tum ko Islam mein pala.

Aur yaad rakho meree ye baat ye dunya ik mussafir khana hain,
Yahan se saab ko iq din jana hain.

Lekin jaab thak tum yahan ho apnee zuban par har bar naam apne Rab ka rakho.

Naam lo uska jo mushkil mein kaam aye. Naam lo uska jo suba shaam tumhare saath rahein.

Dost aur dunya jab koy kaam na aye tho wo aygah jis ka naam thum lo geh.

Naam lo tho kisee cheez ka be lo

The first half is from Waris sha and Rumi but i adapted it for my own, i suppose half of it is…

but heck many poets use bits from the old and mix with the new… so all’s good :smokin2:

Yaar it's been like this for centuries... nothing new in that.

Nearly every poet since Circa300 AD has referred to either Rumi or Waris Sha.
