LAHORE: President Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rashid has said the court’s denying stay order over bye-elections is defeat for the government of Punjab.
Talking to media outside Lahore High Court Rashid said the provincial government was trying to stop the elections to avoid defeat.
He hailed the court decision in favour of the continuation of the electoral process.
