Anyways, I was talking of Omar Qureshis tweets, who is very much anti taleban.

I am not sure how credible such sources of these journalists are. Are they saying that it is not just American drones targeting civilians (unproven) but it is also Pakistan army itself killing its own people?!
In other words, anyone taking action in territory occupied by extremists should stop.

How is such rhetoric from supposedly “anti-Taliban” people like Omer Quraishi going to curb terrorism from the country?

My view is that drone attacks are much better and more effective in taking down the terrorists than such army operations. There is much less chance of civilian casualties in the case of drone attacks. So anyone concerned about civilians should support drone actions against Taliban.
