So now Baluchistan govt has registered a case against ARY news on the orders of Baluchistan high court. Case has been registered against the CEO and a couple of bureau chiefs, among others. Media had far more freedom during Musharraf era.

Our media in general though, is very immature, to the extend of retardation. Not a single TV station (other than ARY itself) has broadcast this news, because they just dont want to mention a competing channel on their own air time. I dont see it on PTV, Geo, or anywhere else.

I think the remaining channels are happy as long as these curbs dont hit them. As far as GEO is concerned, the lesser said the better.

So PEMRA has issued a notice to Ary news because they showed a video of the quaid recidens attack. Why would a sitting government collation complain about showing a terrorist attack? Smell some rats here. Noon and baloch government is backing up the militans in the region?
Its utterly shame that none other than Ary is highlighting this issue. Wherw are the other channels and parties? Only PTI is raising concerns here..
