Its recommended to change shampoos actually by many stylists
Bleaching might not make your skin dark but it WILL make it nasty
Oiling is good for manageability and shine...but not for hair growth...that is a myth!
People who use bleaching creams with hydroquinone (which is a lot of them) will often end up darker in the long run so that ‘myth’ is true for some people:
'Numerous studies have revealed that hydroquinone can cause exogenous ochronosis, a disfiguring disease in which blue-black pigments are deposited onto the skin’
Bleaching makes your skin go dark?
Changing shampoos is bad for the hair?
Oiling is good for your hair?
1) Using bleaching creams that contain a high level of hydroquinone without the supervision of a dermatologist can have HORRIBLE permanent side effects. This is not a "myth"....it's a medically proven fact. You can do a search on hydroquinone online or ask any dermatologists about it.
2) I change my shampoos often...just for the heck of it. Never noticed any "backlash" as a result".
3) My mom religiously oiled her hair all her life...still does. Her hair has always been thin limp. I rarely oil my hair and I have relatively thin hair. One of my sisters (born in U.S.) has NEVER once oiled her hair. She has the thickest/longest hair out of everyone in the family. I guess oil can help those who have very dry scalp....not sure what the benefits are for people with think/flat or "normal" hair.
