5 million refugees came to punjab and about 1 to 1.5 million in sindh.Most of the lahore division became part of pak punjab.
are you saying that punjab recieved all its 5 million refugees from jalandahar and parts of ambala division?

not 5 Million but rather 9,2 Million … about nearly evenly distributed… either way from East to WEST of from WEST to EAST.
