Why does not closing one’s eyes during sneezing results in eyeballs being popped out

I can… its perfectly possible to sneeze without closing your eyes…
So it must be a myth… otherwise i dont have any eyes…

Can a person die of pain?

You can't keep your eyes open ... its neurologically impossible.
A person can die due to the harm caused by pain. I think sara or sheyn can correct me on this but from what I know at a certain threshold of pain your body just shuts down i.e. you go in to an unconcious mode. After that I guess any more pain will cause you some sort of an injury that may be life threatning

that has myth written all over it shak...and its just a natural reflex that the eyes close..eyes are not the only muscles that are contracted while sneezing...if you notice your abdomen, diaphragm etc also contracts...and like Faris said he doesn't close his eyes while sneezing...that means not everyone has the uncontrolled muscle contraction leading to eyes being closed so obviously the eyes dont pop out
as far as dying of pain..I have no idea...but pain is a signal from the brain to alert the body of an injury or problem...so im assuming its not pain that causes further damage but instead whatever caused the brain to signal the unpleasant feeling of pain...i'd love to know if its true otherwise
