Re: Myth of Yazid b Muawiyah's Innocence
just try!
-Do you know who the first Muhajireen and Ansaar are? When was the fisrt migration made during Prophet's mission?
-Notice the word 'Minn' which is translated as "of the" or "from".......i.e. certain people of Muhajireen and Ansaar and not all.
-Read the very next verse 9:101 which is suffice to shatter the point you are trying to make... (9:100) "And from among those who are round about you of the dwellers of the desert there are hypocrites, and from among the people of Medina (also); they are stubborn in hypocrisy; you do not know them; We know them; We will chastise them twice then shall they be turned back to a grievous chastisement"
Who do you you think this verse was revealed for? What is this verse saying?
right here waiting for u my bud :)
well youve only got 3 believers at the time of prophet saw's passing, so you need to provide some religious views (preferebly tafsir) of the first verse
how Allah SWT has prepared for them gardens, is pleased with them and those who even follow them, their own identities are the muhajirin and the ansar
no verses about the munafiqs please, Allah azzawajal promised double chastisement for them, which rules out the caliphs. besides it does not abrogate the first verse
obviously the point is to see if the shia can comprehend this verse

so u goggled couple of verses of the holy book and challenged me on them and once I asked u very basic questions abt the same verses u have started to demand tafsir!!! ............well how abt I do bring u tafsir but wud u believe a "Rafidhi", "Majoosi" tafsir............wud u believe if I brought u tafsir e Numani or Tafsir al mizan?!.........if no then why have u asked such a silly question?..........why wud Muslim history be a bloodbath if we agreed on a single tafseer and the true inheritors of the book of Allah SWT!!!!

ok, I will show restraint and be nice to u.........
put verse # 100 and 101 of Sura Tawba together and try once more to see the point I made in my previous post........and do tell me what makes u think that every tom dick and harry out of 120,000+ sahabas are part of this privileged group if tht is what u think............

no verses about the munafiqs please
[/quote]
brother, we have not even started on the munafiqs and their attributes yet..........how abt u layout ur confusions first and then allow me to question you about your beliefs from the Holy Quran..........

, Allah azzawajal promised double chastisement for them, which rules out the caliphs.

Allah SWT indeed promises them double chastisement but what does caliphs have to do with this? and who do u consider caliphs anyway? why do u seem so sceptical in naming ppl?...........btw chastisement is also doubled for the wives of the Prophet SAWW should they disobey commands of Allah SWT and his Prophet in Sura Ahzab..........
(33:30) O wives of the Prophet, whoever of you is guilty of manifestly improper conduct, the chastisement will be doubled for her. And this is easy for Allah.
now guess which wife of the Prophet SAWW broke at least a few clear commands of the holy Quran alone?

obviously the point is to see if the shia can comprehend this verse

lets worry abt ur own comprehension first....shall we?

Why you for sometime abandon your ancestral habbit of running away from main task and come to the point? You have been throwing all sorts of accusations and when itcomes to challenge you run away like anything, but as I said, I wont leave you without confonting with the following challenge, since you asked for it:

Ok, you have one another chance, say amen to this if you indeed think that you have nothing to do with the murder of Imam Hussain ans his Sahaba:
“I am not from the followers of descendants of those who killed imam Hussain, may Allah’s curse by upon those and also on those authors who accepted Hadith from those killers and also on those who have faith on such books”

Re: Myth of Yazid b Muawiyah's Innocence
nussairi, you know the sunni view of muharjirin and ansar verse youve been active in shia/sunni debates for many many years. our views are not hidden
Al-Quran is the book of Allah SWT, it is guidance, so tell me what guidance the shia have obtained from that verse?
Re: Myth of Yazid b Muawiyah's Innocence
Shaykh ul Islam Maulana Ishaq shatters the myth about Yazid's innocence which is being perpetuated by Neo-Nasibi activisits today.Maulana follows the path of pious salaf without any deviation unlike the Nasibis and Rafidhis. He Clarifies that Revolution which Sayyidna Hussain wanted to bring about was to restore a religious govt. along the lines of the pious caliphs earlier, and he was supported by the majority of muslims but unfortunately due to a combination of reasons the uprising didnt succeced. Also this uprsising inspired many other revolts by the religious people against the corrupt Ummayyads including that of Ansar in Medina, of Kufans under Tawwabun and later under Ibn As'ath. This true nature of the event of Karbala is being forgotten today by both Rafidis and Nawasib who have hijacked the memory of Karabala for their own ulterior motives
I havent been able to understand what exactly a "religious government" is in terms of sunni Islam.
