We keep on hearing how Muslims in India are pampered. According to this guy they are stuck between a devil and a deep sea. Muslims are scared of communal BJP where as congress plays games with them. What do you guys think?

Minorities are not safe in the "biggest democracy in the World" India.
Christian, muslim, untouchables, this caste or that all face threat of violence and discrimination.
It is big issue which is not being solved by successive governments.

For minorities to be protected, the "Moderates" need to get educated. And support Progressive policies. The Right wing the world over scoffs at the Right wing of other nations. While foaming at its mouth and spewing hate when it comes to internal affairs. Progressives are consistent. They want the following for ALL
Equal rights
No discrimination
Keep Religion private.

I believe the author is correct. As for comments criticizing the author, I have little respect for those who put their community ahead of justice and fairness.
Hence my comment that as long as Moderates don't take a moral stand, all is lost. That the Right wing will do its damage is a given.
