kashmir yes, 1971 no, I would even say that the 71 war had nothing to do with kashmir. The war would not have happened if the elected govt would had been allowed to take its rightful place.

Kashmir has been major concern between Pakistan and India since 1947. If that concern is removed, East Pakistan would have still been a part of Pakistan.
