Yeh, it's quite serious drama. Pretty depressing actually. I see three candidates for nominations. Tim Robins, Sean Penn, and Maria Gay Harden. Clint Eastwood did an excellent job. Lone after 'Forgiven'.

Mystic River is definitely year's best movie - the best drama i have seen in a long time - i was shaken and devasted by the truths that came out - Tim Robbins and Sean Penn both deserved the Oscar! everything about this movie is real - the cast alone gives away idea to the auidence that there's something special about Mystic River - this is Clint Eastwood's masterpiece - one of the pleasures of watching an Eastwood directed films is that he is always straightforward - and never tries to pump things up
Mystic River without a shadow of doubt - an act of perfection - a classic movie that will touch your hearts and leave an emotional scar forever. Upon seeing this movie, it affects all of us, in one way or another.
I am glad I was proven right last night when Sean Penn received the Best Actor in a Drama Movie award last night at the Golden Globes.

It was funny when Nicole Kidman announced Tom Cruise for The Last Samurai. I was hoping for a bigger whoosh from the crowd. He was laughing.
With or without the gloves, the woman is a walking ball of energy at her age. She is just so lively. I like to be around such people.
