Frantic parents of the now 15 teens who have been showcasing worrying Tourette-like symptoms are looking for answers as to what exactly is making their children sick.Over the weekend, lawyer Erin Brockivich hypothesized that environmental toxins may be to blame, though officials have reportedly stonewalled her up to this point.But now researchers are now looking into a new explanation – that infections caused by bacteria or viruses can cause also infect the brain, leading to onsets of Tourette’s and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I heard about this some time back, initially thought of it as a hoax or maybe something the kids all thought to do as a prank, but I saw a video of one of the girls being interviewed and it was really sad :(

Hmm, there are so many kids/adults who go through a ton of stress, but don't have this problem. Could it be something that they ate?

I think it's to do with specifically the area they're in, the waters being poisoned/toxic etc etc, perhaps they were exposed to something harmful.

Poor kids, hope it's not permanent :(

when i first read this on sky news..i actually thought it was fake but now it seems so real. I assumed it was fake because ive never heard of a mass psycho illness thats why. this is really worrying though how suddenly 15 teenage girls were affected! Hope they find out what actually is the cause!
