I just got married in Faislabad! last month there had a great time.
The guy that made the movie made it fantastic but made 1 huge error I dont understand how he could make such a big mistake, but he videoed my nikkah and the boys side of eating etc but didnt record the girls side of nikkah nor there eating??? is this normal or do u have to tell the movie guy specifically to record the girls side as well??

thats normal..since he was from ur side he was only going to cover YOUR side of event. the girls side must've had their own video guy, no?

Movie makers of both sides cover all events in the marriage lawn/hall like Nikah, rasams and other stuff like rukhsati etc. I mean girl and boy side have their separate movie makers but some time they manage the one guy who covers all events.

I think instead of having two movie ppl, people should hire one for the entire event and share the cost.

im so anoyed that the movie guy didnt make the girls side of Nikkah and eating and mendi! i guess he couldnt be 2 places at once maybe?

They have more than one person video and pics. Did you ask him about it? He should have a better answer for you.
Btw Lusi, we did that with my wedding. hire the same guy for all three days and this way it was a bit cheaper.

congrats on ur shadi.. unless you/the girls side had specifically asked him to video both sides he wouldnt have done so... im getting married in august inshallah and we've asked the cameraman to bring two cameras/cameramen to video my side and the boys side- we are splitting teh cost so one cameraman they pay for and the other we do..

I or no one else was aware we had to ask the movie guy specifically to record both the boys and girls nikkah side we thought he must have done hundreds of shaadis before he must already know, but didnt.
Anyone its over now nothing we can do about it, but i advise anyone who is getting married in Pakistan ask the movie guy to record both sides when doing nikkah and also when the girls eat as well.
My wedding wasnt in a hall but in 2 joint houses in the pind.

But on question. I am also planining to marry this year and I got a question about the camerman. From where did u hire him and did he do digital recording? My cousins marriage was recorded analog and the qualits was quite... unpleasend ;)
