Re: My wedding 'stuff'

Hi Girls,
i'm new here..actually i just stumbled across this forum yesterday when i was looking for ideas for wedding lenghas. i really enjoyed reading this thread it's full of useful information..thank you very much!

I'm 25, from London planning on getting married in around 8months time so i'm looking for ideas for my lengha, jewellery etc..

i've noticed that a lot of you girls are from Lahore so i just wanted to find out if you have heard of Sanam Boutique? i think the designers name is Javed Malik...do you know what their stuff is like? has anyone had any experience with them?

really appreciate your help!

Re: My wedding 'stuff'

Re: My wedding ‘stuff’

Thanks for the welcome

I just wanted to let you girls know that i went to Lajwanti last night to look at bridal wear and other formal wear…and personally i was very dissapointed…
the designs and kaam was average nothing special and the prices were way tooooo high! i wasn’t impressed at all :teary1:

But do let me know if any of you know of sanam boutique in Lahore Gulberg here’s the link sanamboutique.4t

(sorry i couldn’t put the url until i have 15 posts but just put www at the beginning and .com at the end of sanamboutique.4t)

thanks,

Re: My wedding 'stuff'

It's really sad that Lajwanti isn't concentrating on bridals anymore. They did my valima jora six years ago, and it was drop dead gorgeous. I hear they're in the process of closing their boutiques and are venturing into interior decor. BTW, city girl, where was the boutique you visited?

I remember a Sanam boutique in Liberty market. It was crap. I don't know if it's the same one you mentioned. But if you are in Lahore, go to Liberty and check out all the bridal shops there. The bigs ones include: Think Pink, Zardozi (my cousins from the UK got their bridals from there--pretty good stuff), Aashee's, and Portia. Also in Gulberg are many designer boutiques you can check out. Good luck!

Re: My wedding 'stuff'

hello ladies!

I'm so glad i found you guys! I am getting married inshallah next year sometime. I will be coming to Lahore with my mum in december or january to do my wedding shopping. The only thing is we'll be staying for a couple of weeks, we don't have any family out there so i am relying on recommendations from friends and now this forum!

i guess from what i've read so far zardosi is supposed to be good.... what else?! what are the prices for bridal wear in hsy, maria b and other top designers? are they the same as london designer prices?

I'll be doing all my shopping here, so all my outfits, jewellry accessories everything!!!!! what other things do i need to buy?!

it's all so stressful..... i thought getting married is supposed to be fun!!!

Re: My wedding 'stuff'

The photos will not appear because they have been attached rather than uploaded. If the original poster wishes to upload the photos, she should contact me. Until then, I'm closing this thread.
