one of my best friend's brother in law is getting married. so its not such a close relationship but i dont care! im dressing up! id wear my wedding dress for eid if i wasn't guaranteed to look like a paindu doing that :P

my dress isn't red/maroon/shocking pink/traditional wedding looking, and competing with the bride's dress, and im only wearing a teeka with earrings, not my entire set :p
now if my friend (his sister in law) was going all out in HER wedding gear, i'd tell her to back up a little!

Agree wid u, nothing wrong in making an effort, these days u rarely get a chance to wear ur wedding outfit again or to get all 'dolled up' - i tend to take advantage of any such occasions as i love dressing up, especially wid matching jewellery / accesories, n love to put my hair up in various styles as well as experimenting wid eye-makeup... i say make d most of it whilst u can... life is too short - jus enjoy!
