So girls after hunting for every wedding info from gupshup I finally went to Pakistan this summer for my wedding. I had to shop for both my bari and jahez clothes on top of my wedding outfits so it was an interesting and exciting experience. I got my wedding dress from karma which was a red gharara, mint green top and an indigo dupatta, and my valima dress was from jabeens on tariq road. I loved karma’s service and the quality of the clothes from there is really good in my opinion, so I couldn’t resist and bought a few other outfits from there as well. Jabeens is a non designer place but expensive nonetheless i think especially for a non designer boutique, but they have gorgeous outfits as well.
Threads and Motifs has gorgeous unstitched clothes!!
Amir Adnan for women has beautiful outfits with affordable prices and I loved fnkasia.
My mom and I only managed to find 2 decent outfits from maria b for some reason.
For casual unstitiched clothes I would suggest Gul Ahmed because I loved everything there!
Don’t underestimate the non designer places if you don’t want to spend too much money on designer clothes.
Basically my mom was my shopping buddy and I think I couldn’t have had a better wedding shopping experience with anyone else.
For casuals I mostly got my unstiched clothes from Gul Ahmed and other lawn stores at tariq road and bahadurabad and got them stitched to my liking
There was this store called choices at bahadurabad that had decent off the rack casual clothes which is really hard to find especially ones with decent prices
i tried not to get too many expensive formal wears, so I also looked around at the non designer places at tariq road like memsaheb and this other place near memsaheb (can’t remember the name).
Basically for non designer formal wear the price range was Rs. 10-30k and even up depending on how heavy you want them.
The price range for Amir Adnan’s formal wear was Rs. 20K and up, but you can definitely bargain there.
Jabeens had really nice formal wear as well around Rs 10K and up I believe.
I also bargained down the price of my wedding dress from karma :).
Also Bareeze has really nice casual and fancy unstitched clothes, which are around Rs. 8000 for the fancy and I don’t remember the prices for the casuals there.

I'm getting my wedding dress made from Jabeens too.. what was everyone's experience there? Do they deliver on time? Because we've been asking for the clutch so I can order my jewellery and they keep delaying it! they've been promising to bring it for the past 2 or 3 weeks, but keep making excuses. Should I be worried?

im actually also looking into jabeens so if u can please pleaseee post pics of the suits u got from there because i wont be visiting pakistan and ive heard theyre stuff is great but i need proof before buying clothes lol
