Once people had arrived the nikaah got underway. Molvi saab came into the room where i was hidden and the nikaah was done! Ahh excited and nervous! i was finally married! Then His part of the nikaah was carried out outside in the main hall! I could hear it all then once we were nikaah’fied he came into my room and took the ghoongat off then it was time to walk in.

then rukhsati happened and it was all over so quick!

Valima:

This post has gone on so quick so i’ll just add photo’s with quick brief detail.

the valima was in the afternoon so i had the whole day to relax and then it was time to shower and start waiting for the MUA artist to arrive! I got ready and then there was some more waiting around while we waited at home for the hall to fill up. The hall was only 10 mminute drive so it was no bother waiting at home

then on our way! Arrived and this is the song we walked into:

(this song was a last minute choice! The stupid DJ didn’t have the song we wanted! which was pee loon! but i absolutely adore this song! The best man saved the day by showing this song to us ON THE WAY TO THE VENUE! lol)

lots of eating! Then lots of dancing and finally home! The wedding was OVER

Wow....I will be frank...I actually thought I would get bored reading through this post and planned to quickly skim it...but I ended up reading every single detail. I loved it!!! It was so exciting to go through!! Congratulations!! It all sounds so wonderful - hearing all the details, step by step, how you felt at each stage, what was happening.......ahhh.... it's all making me really, really excited about my own wedding too now!! Insh'allah.

By the way, I absolutely LOVED your mehndi, it was gorgeous. And your make up mash'allah was done really well too :-) congratulations!! Please write more in detail about your Walima, I loved reading it :-D

Congrats and MA! U look very pretty MA. My sister has never done her eyebrows shes lucky and doesn't need to, she wore no make up on the mendi and did her eyebrows lightly a day before the wedding and has nt done them since!
