Hi everyone, I need some advice on what jewellery i should wear with my dress. Please see my dress below and the jewellery i have thought about to wear with it. I am unsure if this jewellery is old fashioned? what is in nowadays and what will go with my wedding dress? I thought pearls with emerald green stones but do you think the set in the pictures looks tacky? it is artificial. Please advise! So confused ![]()

Re: My wedding - Please help!!
To be really honest, I don't like the jewellery you have chosen. To me the necklace looks a bit outdated and overall it appears somewhat obvious that it's artificial. There is nothing wrong with wearing an artificial set, but I think you should look at better quality ones which don't appear to be as outdated.
Also, your dress looks a bit simple for a bridal so definitely stick with jewellery that is emphasising and stands out.
Re: My wedding - Please help!!
I wouldn't wear that set with that dress. The set it too over the top, maybe something a big smaller?
Re: My wedding - Please help!!
I think it'll look nice with the dress because you hardly have any work on the neckline or the shirt and the set will bling it up.
Congratulations on the wedding! =)
Re: My wedding - Please help!!
Thank you for your responses. I thought if I kept the shirt simple the dupatta will set it off as you can see the dupatta has alot of bling and detail and also the lengha is very detailed at the bottom thats why i need a set which is very bling. Ahhh im not sure about my dress now, does it not look like bridal wear? So would pearls match with this dress or what type of jewellery?
Re: My wedding - Please help!!
I wouldn't wear any of these sets with that outfit.

Is there something wrong with my outfit?
Is there something wrong with my outfit?
No, but it does look really simple and not much kaam on it do u have a full pic of dupatta as you cant see how heavy it is.. But those sets u have picked are a big NO NO. they dont look nice and someone said above they looks obviously artficial and not nice
Maybe go for something with pearls and some sparkle but not in that goldish colour go for a round teeka and a lovely long necklace and bangles erc
Re: My wedding - Please help!!
I got this dress made in Pakistan by a boutique called libaas, I wish I hadnt now and just got one from the UK. The dress was supposed to be a Gul Ahmed replica and im so disappointed with the way its turned out. I originally thought the lengha detail would make up for the simpleness of the top but from these replies it seems that my dress is awful
I will post a pic of the full dupatta soon.
what about this set above?
Re: My wedding - Please help!!
Op, do not worry about it. My wedding dresses were also ruined from a local store from the necklines, they didnt put any kaam. No worries. A lot of brides are going simple these days anyway but since you are going simple, you should amp it up and find some better quality. Like everyone has said the sets look very artificial. Do you have more options to chose from? I personally wouldn't go with pearls, what about something pink to match the shirt and not the gharara? So you can bring out the colours of the shirt more? If it even is pink, which looks like it from the pictures.
Re: My wedding - Please help!!
Check out these guys from the UK. I dont know many other jewelry people, their hard to find online. Do you have pearls on your shirt? Is that why your considering pearls? I think that one is better but still not a great fit. I think you need something more delicate and intricate. Don’t just think heavy by its bulkyness. Maybe focus on finding something with nicer stones. Asian & Indian style Jewellery by Kyles Collection. Handmade Bridal, Evening, Engagement & Fashion Jewellery.
Re: My wedding - Please help!!
thanks for ur opinion s and s. I was gonna go for pearls because in the original photo the model is wearing pearls and I thinnk it looks quite nice. See the pic below for the original photo…it wasnt replicated well at all. What about these jewellery sets? Would the jewellery not need to be green to match the dupatta? What about the green set below?
Re: My wedding - Please help!!
I like the second one, but for some reason, the green is looking so dark to me for this outfit. Its not making it shine BUT its also really hard to tell through pictures. I dont see any green on your dupatta, it looks grey?? Is that supposed to be green? It looks grey with gold kaam on pink border. Maybe if you post a full picture. Personally feel like pink and or maybe even redish pink stones will make the shirt colours pop. I feel like the green on the lehnga is popping enough since its a banarsi fabric. I wonder what others think.
Re: My wedding - Please help!!
Oh now I see it, the green dupatta. Its looks grey because its only one layer of the chiffon that seems to be sitting on something light. Even more so do I think the pink redish stones will pop more because you have green stones going on every where else.

Re: My wedding - Please help!!
The colours are more vibrant, the photos dont do the dress justice. Do you still think it looks too plain for bridal?
