Hi Pricess21. I am sorry I had to hide out on purpose :(.. no this is my wedding reception. I had nikah in 2005 so I did red for that and wanted to do something different for reception.

Thank you so much everyone! Alhumdulliah everything is going good so far. We have been married for a 2 years now and are blessed with 11 month old daughter Iman Masallah.
The makeup was actually done by a lady who worked at Macy's but she did my makeup privately. I live in Grand rapids, Michigan and we don't have any pakistani/indian salons or shops so that was the best option. The mehendi was done by my really good friend it turned out beautiful and the dress is from Hajra Hayat. The jewelery came from a shop in Islamabad so I am not sure about the name :)

Oh, can you please post the info of the makeup lady at Macy’s? Guppans are always looking for MUAs who can do makeup in USA esp. where there aren’t any Pakistani/Indian salons or shops.
You can thank your friend again. It really turned out lovely. 
How was the HH (Hajra Hayat) experience? I don’t think many guppans are satisied with her stitching and customer service so how did you find the overall quality of kaam?

hubby was not okay with me posting pictures with my face... but I really wanted to show the gupshup community since I enjoy seeing so many beautiful brides so this was the median we came up with :)..
Mahismart- The lady works at macy's in woodland mall in grand rapids, Mi. She does makeup for arabic women for their festavities so she is quiet good... To tell you the truth I haven't seen her for quiet some time now so I wouldn't be surprised if she does only professional make up herself now. if anyone needs the info I can definately get from my cousin as she had her makeup done from her as well.
I was very happy with my dress but i can't take credit for it as my aunt lives in pakistan and did all the talking with her. Overall, I was very happy when the dress came.. i felt her pricing was fine as well as the whole dress was full of kaam including the duppata.
Jewelery came from shop in Islamabad and I had a matching kara made with my wedding set as i wanted to wear all gold for my wedding :).
One thing that I do regret is that my dupatta was very heavy and i didn't have enough support in my hair to keep the volume therefore my hair got squeezed in towards the end of the night :(.. The lady that did my hair teased my hair a lot but still the duppata unfortunately was way tooo heavy.

yea Hajra Hayat normally receives the worst reviews. I think it helped that your aunty was there to sort out the dress otherwise it would be a nightmare trying to get it online.
