Salaam Everyone,
This place helped me a lot and i thought i would update my status here and try and help some of you bride-to-be’s out there.
My barat outfit was from karma. Karma has been very ordinary lately with their kaam but i liked how the cut was differernt and thats what made me choose it. It was also one of the few places that was in my range so i was quite satisfied with the final product. As for customer service- i think i wrote about that somewhre else on the forum.
Walima outfit was by this home based designer- I wass really nervous but it turned out really nice.
I got most of my jewellery from sonica and waseem jewellers. Sonica is especailly nice. do check it out.
Most of my other dresses were non designer. but i did have karma, sana safinaz, shiza hasan .
barat makeupwas from mariam khwaja. Great experience. i Love how she does everything from the base to hair instructions and dupatta setting. really enjoyed everything. Walima was by Ather shahzad. kind of assembly line-ish but people seemed to love the makeup so i think it was alright.
i am biggg on decor and arrangements so thats where i spent the most. i did the mehndi myself and it turned out quite well. Nouvelle did my barat and it turned out AMAZING. They are VERY through and i m sure they got a lot of new clients through my wedding. totally worth the money.
My photoshoots were done by deevees and athar of atharshahzad for barat and walima respectively. Both were quite comfortable to work(?) with. Deevees were expecially nice to hand over my shoot in a week because i was leaving for US.
Did cards and favors myself.

i really wish i could put up pictures but im the type who doesn’t even post them on Facebook so gs is out of question. However i do seem to know some of you here and if you pm me maybe i will send some

We would definitely like to see ur dresses, i know what you mean by not putting up the pics here. But you can blur ur face or just crop ur face and just show the dress, no? :)

what were mariam khwaja's charges???...and if you dont mind could you please, please PM me a pic of ur barat day...really wanna see the make up. and you ur bridal as well...i remember you describing it...and it sounded really different and nice.

im eager to know abt ur invitation card dear....as im thinking to do some gifts for my dear ones i want do my own...so how much time u put for each card...how much u bought material for it...for how many cards...

sana safinaz was my bari outfit.. it was more on the casual side with not lot of kaam but stil quite pretty. the lahore outlet doesnt have a lot of varietyy and frankly they're a bit unprofessional when it comes to delivering on time
I just designed the cards and favor boxes. Did not actually 'make' them.
My events were not in halls. barat was in a ground opposite 1D modeltown. its huge and thts what was needed. mehndi was at my place. It was a relatively smaller event with about 200 people so our lawn was enough.
i got the laila bridal. Its an aline shirt with sharara.
