I am posting this concern as a legitimate concern…and if the response as always is patwari, jahil, jealousy, noora, then no problem we are used to it :slight_smile:

First, I have said many times that our electoral system needs to be reformed..absolutely no doubt abt it and if there was any rigging in 2013, we absolutely need to investigate it via a judicial commission (not on a container stage or in mubaashar luqman show)

now lets say that somehow these electoral reforms get inducted into our system…lets assume that

but the issue that will remain unresolved, as i see it, will be PTI supporters and its leadership’s “one-dimensional” and “my way or the highway” type attitude. In PTI mind they conquered karachi last week and they conquered lahore this week…

**and dont blame me for saying this. Just look at the posts on this forum and/or any other forum or twitter. PTI trolls are declaring that Lahore and Karachi are now ours and THAT IS IT. **

and for PTIans and its leadership, what it means that in next elections if PMLN or MQM win any or some seats in lahore and karachi, that has to be some sort of DHANDLIEE because there is no way PMLN can win any seat from Lahore because we had a big jalsa there…chapter closed!

and next week Mianwali and then Multan and by the time PTI will be done with all these jalsas, the whole country will be with PTI by virtue of these jalasas and therefore PTI must gain a winning majority in next elections or otherwise it has to be dhandliee. In their mind, it is that simple.

and the counterargument is that this is not true…or let me put it this way, it may not be true. Other parties still have many many voters and may be they are jahil and idiots but hey they may not vote for PTI.

So a core attitude-related issue remains there that either PTI shd win or it will be a dhandliee…and i see it as a perpetual circus in motion..obviously this circus will have a musical diversity of sounds and themes!

**No doubt very impressive Jalsa last night in Lahore

Again I will say .... gathering 70K to 80K and many from Shiekupura, Gujranwala & Faisalabad Division in metropolitan city of 1.1 Crore is not a big deal

Million Dollar Question is that Jasla will be translated into "Electoral Victory" ?

Remember Jalsas of 30 Octovber 2011 and 23 March 2013 .... just amazing

but what happened on 11 May , 2013

Lahore is not all about Model Town, Faisal Town , Johar Town , DHA , Muslim Town

I sometimes myself travel on Lahore Metro Bus in Rs. 20 on a 27 Km Route and Daily average of 150,000 people travel by this service

Lahore ke poor aur middle class jo Metro pr travel krte hai .... unka vote Election wale din kis ke sath hoga ?

Metro is just a single example ..... there are many more

I dont say that PML-N is like an Angel Party with no loopholes and flaws .... infact there are are 1000s

But lets not under estimate the impact of these projects on the needy and poor

And there are many projects in Rahim Yar Khan , Rajan Pur , Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan and Bhawalpur also. Despite PPPP played Saraiki Card in Elections 2013 but still people voted for PML-N

آخر عمران خان پاکستان کو مسلسل نقصان کیوں پھنچا رھے ھیں؟ سیاست کے لئے ملکی معیشت کو نقصان کیوں پہنچایا جا رھا ھے؟ دھرنے دے کر ملک میں انتشار کیوں پھیلایا جا رھا ھے؟ ملک میں مسائل ھیں، مگر کیا تحریک انصاف خیبر پختونخواہ میں کوئی انقلاب لے کر آئی ھے؟ ظاھرًا یہ وہ معقول سوالات ھیں جو ان دھرنوں کی مخالفت میں پوچھے جا رھے ھیں۔

مگر ذرا ایک لمحے کے لئے اگر ھر تعصب اور ’’مصلحت‘‘ جس کا پرچار مختلف سیاستدان اور تجزیہ کار کر رھے ھیں کو ایک طرف رکھ دیا جائے اور اس بات کو بھی تھوڑی دیر کے لئے چھوڑ دیا جائے کے احتجاج کا طریقہ کار درست ھے یا غلط ۔ اورسوچا جائے کہ کیا عمران خان اور تحریک انصاف کا مئی ۲۰۱۳ کے انتخابات کی جانچ پڑتال کا مطالبہ غلط یا غیر آئنی ھے؟

اس چیز سے قطع نظر کہ آیا انتخابات میں دھاندلی کا دعوہ درست بھی ھے یا نھیں(باوجود اس بات کے کہ قومی اسمبلی کے جوائنٹ سیشن میں بھی دھاندھلی کا اعتراف کیا جا چکا ھے)، ھر ذی شعور شخص کو یہ بات آج ماننی پڑ رھی ھے کہ انتخابات جس سے ملک کی قسمت کا فیصلہ ہوتا ھے، اس کی جانچ پڑتال کا مطالبہ ھر سیاسی جماعت کا حق ھے۔ اگر یہ مطالبہ درست ھے تو آخر اس بنیادی اور سادہ سے مطالبے کو رد کیوں کیا جاتا رھا ھے؟ اگرپی ٹی آئی کے دعوں کے برعکس عوام کا مینڈیٹ واقعی میں چوڑی نھیں کیا گیا تو حکومت کے پاس تو ایک انتہائی اچھا موقع تھا کہ وہ عمران اور ان کی پارٹی کو جھوٹا ثابت کر کے اگلے انتخابات کے لئے بھی حجت قائم کر دیتی، مگر ایسا نہ کیا گیا۔

تو گویا یہ بات تو طے ھو گئی کہ انتخابات کی جانچ پڑتال کا مطالبہ بالکل جائز اور مناسب ھے مگر بھت سے پاکستانیوں کو یہ باور کروانے کی کوشش کی جا رھی ھے کہ اس دھرنے سے ملک کا بہت نقصان ھو رھا ھے، اس لئے اس میں شرکت ملک دشمنی کے مترادف ھے۔

اس موضوع پر جو دلائل دئے جاتے ھیں،ان کو بہت تواتر کے ساتھ استعمال کیا جاتا رھا ھے۔ ان میں بھت سی باتیں درست بھی ھیں، مگر معاملہ یہ ھے کہ یہ سوالات اصل مسئلے سے توجہ ہٹانے کے لئے استعمال کئے جا رھے ھیں۔ اس بات کی وضاحت کے لئے کہ اصلی مسئلہ کیا ھے، آپ کو ایک بادشاہ اور اس کی جمھور کا قصہ سنائے دیتا ھوں:

ایک دفعہ کا ذکر ھے کہ ایک ملک کا بادشاہ مر گیا تو اس کی سلطنت بادشاہ کے واحد بیٹے کے حوالے کر دی گئی۔ یہ وہ ملک تھا جس کو کوئی قابل ذکر بیرونی خطرات لاحق نا تھے۔ بادشاھت کا عھدہ سمبھالنے کے کافی عرصے بعد تک بھی اس کی رعایا میں سے جب کوئی فریاد کرنے والا نا آیا تو بادشاہ نے اپنے وزیر سے پوچھا کہ آخر اس کی رعایا اس کے پاس اپنے مسائل پیش کرنے کیوں نہیں آتی، تو وزیر نے بادشاہ کو بتایا کہ اس کی وجہ یہ ھے کہ ملک کے حالات بہت احسن انداز میں چل رھے ھیں، اس لئے آج تک اس قوم کا کوئی باشندہ اپنی فریاد لے کر بادشاہ کے پاس نہیں آیا۔ بادشاہ کو وزیر کی بات سن کر پہلے تو کچھ اطمینان ھوا مگر اس نے اپنی بوریّت دور کرنے کے لئے اپنی رعایہ کے لئے کچھ خود ساختہ مسائل کھڑے کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔

بادشاہ نے اپنے ایک دربان کوشہر کے سب سے اہم پُل پر مامور کر دیا اور اس کو شاہی حکم نامہ جاری کیا، جس کے مطابق اس پُل پر سے گزرنے والے ھر شخص کی سزا ایک کوڑا متعین ھوئی۔ بادشاہ کا خیال یہ تھا کہ اُس کےاس نامناسب اور غیر ضروری حکم نامے کے خلاف شکایت کرنے کے بہانے اس کی رعایہ اس کے دربار میں آئے گی۔ مگر جب ایک ہفتہ گذر جانے کے باوجود بھی اس کے پاس کوئی نا آیا تو اس نے ایک کوڑے کی بجائے دو کوڑوں کی سزا متعین کر دی۔

چند دنوں کے بعد جب بادشاہ کے وزیر نے اسے یہ بتایا کے چند لوگ بادشاہ کے سامنے ایک شکایت پیش کرنے آئے ھیں، تو بادشاہ کو اطمینان ھوا کے اس کا منصوبہ بالآخر کامیاب ھو گیا ھے۔ بادشاہ نے اپنی رعایہ کے نمائندگان کو اپنے دربار میں بُلا کر استدعا کی اجازت دی تو ان میں سے ایک شخص نے انتہائی ادب کے ساتھ گزارش کی: ’’بادشاہ سلامت، آپ نے شہر کے جس پُل پر اپنا وہ دربان کھڑا کر رکھا ھے جو ھر گزرنے والے کو دو کوڑوں کی سزا دیتا ھے، وہ ایک انتہائی اھم پُل ھے۔ ھمیں معلوم ھے کے آپ کے اس حکم نامے میں لازمًا کوئی مصلحت ھے، مگر گزارش یہ ھے کے اُس پُل سے ھم سب شہریوں کوروزانہ گُزرنا پڑتا ھے، اور پُل پر صرف ایک دربان کی موجودگی سے ھم لوگوں کو اپنی اپنی منزل تک پھنچنے میں بہت دیر ھو جاتی ھے۔ بادشاہ سلامت، آپ سے گزارش یہ ہے کے اس پُل پر صرف ایک کی بجائے دو دربان متعین کئے جائیں تاکہ ھمارا قیمتی وقت ضائع ہونے سے بچ سکے‘‘۔

ھمارا حال بھی کسی حد تک اُس بادشاہ کی قوم جیسا ھی ھے، مگر فرق اتنا ھے کے کافی ارصہ کوڑوں کی سزا بھگتنے کے بعد اب کچھ لوگ نا انصافیوں کے خلاف کھڑے ھو نا شروع ھو گئے ھیں، جس کی وجہ سے ھماری مصروفیات میں خلل آنے کی وجہ سے ھم میں سے کچھ لوگ اس احتجاج کے ھی خلاف ھو گئے ھیں، اور اصل مسئلے کو پہچاننے سے قاصر معلوم ھوتے ھیں۔

**I will say that playing Jalsa Jalsa by different parties will not going to make any change .... Fazlu can bring 200,000 students of Madrassas on streets..... remeber his Karachi Jalsa

guzarish yae hai meray bahi that what Imran is doing now via jalsas is absolutely democratic..every opposition party has its right to conduct jalsas and present its demands and put pressure on the govt to accept his demands....

what i do not and did not endorse was his core demand in dharna regarding PM resignation .... this trend of asking for PM resignation by collecting few thousand people in capital will be a very dangerous trend, which cannot be appreciated or endorsed...and yes of course i have issue with PTI's self-righteous and my way or the highway type attitude. Yae baadmahi hai jaanaab. Geo or jeenay do please.

Had he focused on electoral reforms and rigging investigation by a judicial commission as his core demands, he would have gained so much more momentum and endorsement

anyway, looks like imran is coming back to his senses...laahore jalsa has provided him with much need vitality. He is now jokingly saying that nawaz shd not resign for few more weeks but obviously the underlying message was that he is showing flexibility in his stand....looks like imran will now gradually soften his stand on this unreasonable PM resignation demand and will focus on electoral reforms and rigging investigations.

and that is exactly what he did in lahore jalsa and that is the right strategy. I hope he does not waste this chance by going after useless PM resgination demand. Focus on electoral reforms, rigging investigation and and an independent election commission sir jee.

I have said it many times hat if we get electoral reforms and a completely independent election commission via IK, it will be his ehsan azeem on our coming generations.
