Could you please elaborate on the bolded part in your post above. It could be a much needed piece of advice for some of us to deal with kidnapping or similar situation (God Forbid) better.
Did your uncle know those two men he gave lift to … or he didn’t know them?
stopping for the bus??? Did he try to run away because there was a bus and a crowdy place ? or bcoz of s/th else ?
and your uncle lived in Pak? or was just visiting relatives?
