Yup the dude wit the hairy legs in the first post is me :D
Its sumthing else to stand there and look at the scenary, breathtaking! This was in the summer of 2003 in Marmaris. Marmaris is right on the coast one hours boat trip to some fo the Greek islands. We rented some scooters and drove around in the mountains and got to all these different kinds of places. Ppl are really friendly and nice. Whenever we came across these small villages all the ppl gathered around and wanted to know everything about us. Quite and experience.
I think that Istanbul is definately worth visting for its historical value. I havent been there myself but wud like to go there sum time.

the only things i remember from my trip to turkey are a rubber chicken that u could inflate, chocolate cream in a toothpaste like tube… and belly dancers…

I didn’t get a chance to go to the southern part of Turkey where all the beaches are. We stayed in Istanbul and Bursa. It’s a beautiful country :k:

Thanx, well the southern part of the country is really nice. Marmaris is nice becuase of the short distance to Rhodos. But Rhodos is a bit too much of a beach tourist place. Im actually alot more into exploration and architecture then sitting on a beach all day long.
