I was just going through some old CD’s and I happened to come across the pictures we took while I was in Pakistan. Just thought to share them with you guys - they might even spark a few memories with some of you.
Enjoy!
PS - this was back in December of 2002. So a good while back now.

Pic 1 - Waaga Border - for those that don't know...this is the border of Pakistan and India as I mentioned before..and every morning at sunrise and every evening at sunset they have this ceremony, where they'll raise the respective flags of the countries (morning) and take down the flags (evening)...it really is a sight to see!
pic 1 - this is near the daman-e-koh area..when your a top the mountains..
pic 2 - going to pakistan was a real eye opener for me…and made me appreciate even more everything that Allah has given to me…Allhumdulillah
pic 3 - this was in Muree - we were sitting there having a picnic - and all of a sudden these goats started parading in our food. so my cousin started givin’ them some food
pic 4 -
pic 5 - ohh..the new motorway (well not new anymore) between lahore and islamabad i believe..
pic 6 - this is ahhh..you know that place where you go on the mountains and when you look down you can see both pindi and islamabad..and faisal masjid..yeah, it’s around there somewhere.
These photos reminds me... I need to see more of Pakistan. I've been to Pakistan around once every year or two in my life and never once been outside of Sindh. Heck... I've only ever been out of Karachi twice!
Anyway smilestar.. did you have fun? And how did your stomach hold up? :p

yes! tons and tons and tons and tons of fun. it was a great experience. it the first time in my life that i had gone to pakistan, so it was awesome. total culture shock, even though i like to think that i'm cultured.
i'd love to go back and visit again ..anytime, but i don't think i could live there.
you can't walk down the street without feeling creeped out.
cause it was my family, so that's 5 people, plus my khala's family..another 5 people. so more like 10 people.
we weren't staying at a hotel...we were at someone's house, and this was what was available to us..
i know what you mean…
we had one western style toilet, but it was always being used…
so you had good practice ‘holding it’…
but man…pakistan style toilets are hard to use. my mum says they’re made like that so that you don’t relax and start reading magazines.. jeez..the minute your done your business, you wanna get up!
