Just to put you at ease…These boots were washed by dunking them in surf wala pani for two days (thats how you keep em soft) when I left pakistan. Havent been worn since.

Kool! Which ares have you trekked in Pakistan? You reminded me of my treks. I've been to lot of places right from Islamabad to Muzaffarabad; Murree-Nathiagali-Miranjani; Abbotabad-Thandiani; Mansehra-Garhi Habib; Naran-Babusar; Nilt-Raka Poshi-Karimabad-Gulmit-Pasu in Hunza; and North of Khaplu in Baltistan.
Some area are breathtakingly beautiful.
