M or anyone else could you recommend a good Essie nude shade (not a shimmery one)- since I suppose "nude" is different for everyone- I am very pale (NC20)- something beige-y pink

^I'm not really well-versed in Essie polishes but I'm also NC20 and I love OPI's Sweetheart, Zoya Pandora as well as OPI Don't Touch My Tutu!

They are not traditional brown-based nudes but are either pinks or whites so the kind of polishes you reach for when you want clean nails with a slight brightening effect. I'll check some more and get back to you if you're looking for mannequin/brown-based nudes.

I’m NC20 and one of my fave beige-pink nudes is OPI’s Dulce de Leche. It’s darker than my skin tone, but still a very pretty nude.

I didn’t know you were NC20! What are your foundation matches and what are some of your favorite colors to wear?

I had that Zoya shade. I love Zoya polishes, but this shade is such a pretty neutral.

Yeah, I'm pasty pale unfortunately although I have tanned since my vacation. I don't wear foundation if I'm honest, but I have tried a few in the past. I'm NC20 in MAC's SFF, B20 in Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua and "Deauville" in NARS's Sheer Glow.

Favourite colours to wear? On my nails? Anything...I'm obsessed with nail polishes! I'm comfortable wearing any colour really, as long as it's a creme finish...I can't stand anything metallic or glittery on my nails.

Oh, I'm not pasty pale on the face (have a lot of surface redness) but chest/neck is otherwise quite pale which makes matching foundation a PITA. But thanks, I'll look into those. I've been meaning to get matched to NARS SG and think I'll be between your shade or Fiji. :)
