I don't mind others in my kitchen to keep me company, but I agree, I don't want them doing the cooking, dishes maybe, but cooking is for me.
I actually enjoy it when I'm prepping for a dinner party and the other women come and hang out and chat in the kitchen and if they offer, sure, I might ask them to help out with little tasks, setting the table, etc. - I like to socializing.
the kitchen belongs to me I like doing things my way when my mil came to visit for 3 months she used to want to help out and I didnt like it but I let her do every thing she wanted,the day after she left to go I took my entire kitchen cupboards contents into the garden and cleaned all my wares till they were sparkling.
