as far as chinese salt concern i dont know whether it effects health or not but usually people says that its haram and all from muslims point of view…may b that is why people avoidit

I remember back in the days people used to say that. It depends on what the salt is derived from, whether its a meat source or any other vegan source. I get National’s Chinese salt where I live & it says Halal on it.
