i woke up last night to go toilet, and i saw the lil one was a few mins away from waking up herself and she had kickedthe blanket onto her face, so she had it on her face and i nearly screamed the house down. i now put her ina grobag, but since last night ive been feelingscared, and guilty, what if i hadnt woken up by chance…any similar experiences anyone? i know cot death god forbid is rare, but im constantly worried…shes 8 weeks now mashallah, when do the chances diminish…
Re: my scary babyyyyy
I believe the chances diminish when your baby can flip over by herself. For younger babies, swaddling is the best option ..... open blankets should not be used. With my newborn, I even use her blanket to swaddle her sometimes, she gets her arms out easily but at least the blanket is wrapped well around her and there are no chances of it getting on her face.

^yup

You've put your baby to sleep in a grobag, which is the safest thing for her to sleep in. Well done! :)
