AP is probably the world’s richest self made Muslim, he certainly is India’s richest. He commands my respect because he works hard, lives a simple life and uses his wealth wisely. If only the world had more people like him!

Contrast him with the Ambanis - it is like night and day. I hear the latter skimp on paying taxes, live an opulent lifestyle and dont do much for the poor. (Or even Mitthal - who technically is not Indian). Yes, Asif Premji is a great human being.

yes ambanis are certainly not a fare type of business house , but i dont think mittals have ever been accused of any violation , wipro chief has a clean image and very respected person. some years ago he was considered richest man in india.

Sorry I was not ery clear re:Mithal. In his case, I did not mean he was corrupt. I meant the opulence part only. To the best of my knowledge, he does not give back to the community like Premji.

narayan murti and premji both are backbone of indian i.t. sector . govt takes them very seriously , to day i saw on tv minister ambika sony being very humble and apologitical about some statement of premji about something govt's paralysis of action , she was very much being humble and saying she will talk to premji immediately and solve the matter concerned.
