No one but God himself knows what the absolute true way to practice religion. But an educated 2nd grader could tell you that it is ignorant, arrogant and intolerant to tell someone else yours is the only real belief and that theirs is wrong. If you need to believe that to make you more secure in your belief , fine. But to have the chutzpah to tell that to someone else takes the cake.

Again the point is, that everyone belives he/she is right and has better or supirior idea of how life must be lived by anyone.

First of all, it would be quite foolish to anticipate offence in response to the statement like the title of this thread.

consider this :

No other chicken tastes as good as KFC !

Anyone in the right frame of mind can not take offence to these statements, Although you can deny or question the validity of statement.

So, there is no arrogance in any of these statement, same way there is no arrogance in the title statement. Just some people are oversensetive here

Anyone can claim their path is the best, but till one has'nt been through all the paths-to claim"My religion is far more superior" would be incorrect.

Personally, I think I am following the best path since no other path I know will lead me to true God.

(I used word God as word only, intentionally, and not as a specific word as Allah, bhagwan, Lord, Father)

Jews still act as though they are the "chosen" people, and proclaim their superiority over all others. The Christian Churches say their religion is superior to Judaism and all other religions.

I see no 'condemnation' of these points of view, yet a burning jealousy when Muslims say that Islam is superior.
