For the Religiously indoctrined - I can suggest that perhaps 1400 years ago the dogs in Arabia were vicious. But these days with Breaders & training, the Dogs are so gentle and they love & protect the family, even the infants.
Dogs - they are so funny when they are puppies. Did you know that a dog born is just like a small sausage. Their eyes are closed, and they are blind for the first few weeks!!
Its fun seeing them moving around blindly, sticking to their mom.
They have their moods and they are sad and happy, their tail is a good indicator of how they feel. They play with everyone in the house, games like hide & seek, rolling over. You can also teach them tricks like shake hands, bring the stick or ball back, they are good swimmers and love the attention. Just think of them as babies - babies too are messy with their poo in the start, likewise dogs can and are trained to go outside to poo.
All I can say to all of you - is if you once have a dog you'll know the meaning of being a Dog - lover.
Even in the BC, the Chinese, Egyptians had pet dogs. In arabia probably they had wolf like dogs, but these days with the world opening out-there are Toy dogs, play dogs, gaurd dogs. You can choose the breed you want.

But many bad habits can be controled in dogs through training...
I properly trained dog will not pee on you carpet, and a dog wont drowl all over you if he is properly trained...
Relgious people dont have to turn EVERY single thing in life into a relgious debate. You cant sneeze without wondering if its halal or haram.
Not everything has to do with relgion.. This is a about a puppy!
If it were about a puppy in burqa, then its understandable… But this is just someones friggin puppy… Go let out some religious steam out on the prayer rug and leave the poor puppy alone…
