My Personal Beliefs

Dear friends

I’ll be leaving Gup Shup tomorrow and believe it or not I will miss you all.

I thought I’d tell you about my beliefs before I left, as I noticed some of you did wish to know.

Firstly, what I don’t understand about Christianity as you know it:

The trinity – 3 in 1 and 1 in 3
Why do they call the Bible ‘Holy’, when its true author is Paul, who had never even met Jesus?
Most of the bible is according to Mark, Matthew, Luke and John, and not according to Jesus or God.
Why does one individual have to suffer for the sins of others?
Why would God find it so necessary to represent himself as a man?
How can God get himself killed by his own creation?
Who is playing God while He’s dead?
If Jesus was god, then why did he worship the creator and prostrate to him before he was due to be crucified?
… and there are several more questions, but I’m trying to keep this short.

Now for my beliefs:

I believe that there is one God, and that Jesus was just another Messenger like Moses and Abraham. As Muslims you’ll all be glad to know, that I do believe there was to come another Messenger after Jesus, as the old Aramaic scripts will testify. These scripts are hidden away by the Christian clergy, many of them in the Vatican. The original scripts also give a description of the final messenger and some events that were to arise around the time of his birth. The characteristics stated, along with all the evidence, does seem to point towards Muhammad, which even an honest Christian scholar would admit. But you’re not likely to find one of those around so easily. These Aramaic scripts also state that this Messenger to come after Jesus will be the final Messenger. Although Jesus will return to earth after him, Jesus will not be reincarnated, nor born again, but will return in the same age and condition as he was when lifted up into the Heavens.

In a nut shell, this is my belief. To be frank, if the majority of Christians did not follow the Church, but stuck to the facts and the proofs, they would not be disarray and confusion that they’re lost in today.

I’ve enjoyed your company and posts, as I found most interesting. I would like to wish you all the best for the future. Take care.

bye

John its a pleasure meeting you !

If you consider that;
there is one God and
Muhammad as a messenger of God

then to me you are no longer a christian.

I accept you as a MUSLIM.

For sure Allah is the only true guidance. May he bless you.

Take care.

John,

May Allah guide all of us to the truth.. Your sincerity will be remembered by me and I'm sure by many others.

watcha John

Although you told me about your beliefs a few months ago by email (when it was working!), i've noted many new personal beliefs you now hold. Also many more unanswered questions about Christianity. You certainly have been doing a lot of investigation.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. It's always nice to know the thoughts of the person on the other side of the monitor.

As brother Yacoob said, it's all about sincerity.

May Allaah make your quest in search for knowledge easy.

take care,
and give me a call sometime.

I'm sorry i'm in a hurry and cannot therefore reply to everyone individually. But i just wanted to say thanks to you all, for your words of support and encouragement.

Take care, and perhaps someday we'll 'meet' again. salut!

Muzna - sure, god willing :)

Hasnain - will do
