Why don't you go to the bazaar section and email the GS vendors, and see which one of them might be kind and dependable enough to help you out... you have enough time and you love the work so put in a little extra but wear what you had your mind and heart set on....
Some of these ladies are superbly knowledgeable and also have great tailors and kaarigars who can fix stuff as well....
