The game is called “Pirates, Vikings and Knights”, or PVK for short…It consists of three teams as is evident by the name of the game and what teams they are…I will provide a link so you can check it out for yourselves…
This map is called Helms Deep…If you have seen LOTR 2, you know what it is…You can even see the horn from here which actually works…And you can also see that I am a bowman in this picture…

That’s a knight on my team ahead of me…
[thumb=D]helms_deep00011.JPG[/thumb]
The Vikings in this game represent the Orcs and the Knights the humans…The third option, Pirates, is disabled in this map…You can see this Viking chasing me and my health in the lower left corner and I am about to die an agonizingly painful death…

This is from a map called castle…All teams activated, objective: Steal the Knights’ treasure…I also played a bowman in this one…

[thumb=D]pvk_castle0001.JPG[/thumb]
This is from a map called Colossus…All teams activated, objective: Reach Colossus’ head for your team…Here you can see the Colossus and his head…Right now I am on a blimp floating in front of the Colossus…That island you see floating is a way of reaching the blimp…

This is the drawbridge crossing in Colossus…It’s gonna take too long to tell you how it operates…
[thumb=D]pvk_colossus0003.JPG[/thumb]
This is the ‘inn’ where you get health…See that chicken b4 u…That’s health…
[thumb=D]pvk_colossus0004.JPG[/thumb]
These are the portals in Colossus which lead you to different places…The red=head, purple leads to the blimp and the green takes you to the start…

[thumb=D]pvk_oceancalm0000.JPG[/thumb]
This Pirate Captain is chasing me through the water…Pirate Captains in PVK also have a parrot which they can unleash on you…It scratches your face something fierce…

Out of the hundred or so mods for Half-Life, comparitively this is in reality a pretty badly done mod…I like it because it’s the only mod where you have to do close quarter combat…The weapons are very realistic, like if you are springing a bow, you arrow goes as far as you pull the bowstring and so on…
Day of Defeat was the best ever mod for Half-Life.
But now I’ve moved on to other, better things .. Premium On-Line gaming. I now play just World War 2 Online, the most realistic online experience you can get. I mean, in how many other games, when you shoot at a tank, does the system calculate everything from the kinetic energy of the impact through to the angle of impact to determine whether or not any damage occurs - and then, after penetration, calculates what the shell actually physically does to determine the exact damage done. And that’s just the tip of the iceburg…
:soldier:
Everything from tanks, trucks infantry through to fighters, bombers, and naval ships.
In the game, if it moves, then someone in the real-life world is sitting at a PC controlling it.
I bnough that game the day it came out. And it was the most incomplete bug infested piece of munky doodoo ive ever played.

True. The developers, Cornered Rat Software, didn't want to release the game that early because it was incomplete at that stage, but were forced to do it by the developers. In fact, the developers themselves acknowledged that it was so bad that they didn't require people to subscribe to play for a month.
Anyhows, a ton of patches later, it's a totally different experience alltogether. You should give it a go - they've got a free 30-day trial these days.
