I ordered an outfit in October for November delivery from indusmart . com based off of positive reviews on this site.
From the beginning, Junaid from Indusmart has been very good to work with.
According to the website description:
Fabric: Chiffon & Raw Silk
Color: Bottle Green & Light Grey
Details: Pure Heavy Chiffon Shirt embroidered using Kora, beads, sequins, threads and swarovski crystals on full front and sleeves.
**Trouser/shalwar: **Light Raw silk trouser embroidered on bottoms. Dupatta: Chiffon Crushed dupatta in bottle green embroidered on borders.
When the suit arrived, I was satisfied with the fitting and fabric. I felt the kaam was not exactly what I expected. The kameez had a lot more work on it than the picture gave me the impression. I felt it was too crowded and I also felt the colors were not representative of what I saw in the picture. I contacted Junaid via email and he sent me some closer up pictures of the suit which he did not have on the website for quick loading reasons. These pictures were more representative of what the suit actually was.
He offered to re-do the suit to match more of my expectations and also offered to cover my return shipping charges, which I greatly appreciated.
The suit finally arrived recently. The re-do is a great improvement than the first time. I still feel it is not exactly as I had expected, but the customer service is good.
I will have this outfit on sale in the Classifieds section if anyone is interested. Please sent me a PM.
What a bummer!! I gotta say, your outfit looks lovely, and the kaam is so pretty. I'm not a fan of extremely heavy kaam on the chest part either, otherwise would have been very interested in your outfit. Sorry. Good luck selling it.
i'll look very dashing in it and who knows might give heartattacks to a few pervy uncles ...but sadly my wife won't appreciate a second woman in our relationship and unfortunately i'm not very good at persuading others...especially her. and so with a heavy heart i too will have to say 'sorry i can't buy it'.
i think this is exactly why these websites should take the original pics off and put a pic of their copied outfit on a mannequin...that way people will know what to expect and no one's time nor money would be wasted.
Oh so you are selling it because you are unsatisfied with the work? I guess I got 2 joras from indus mart one didn't look a lot like the picture and the other looked pretty much exact. I have a friend who is getting married in Pk right now and she went to HSY and Banto Kazmi and looked at the clothes that were in pictures, even with the actual designer fashion photos don't look the same. Having clothes made is a chance so now I just figure as long as I get a decent product I am happy!
This is the best idea i've heard so for on dealing with online ordering!

Thanks for the compliments. I'm sure Indusmart will appreciate it.
I am selling because the kaam is a bit crowded and also some of the work is kind of mota than what I am accustomed to wearing.
i noticed that the kaam is not that delicate, too. indusmart is not that cheap so i'd expect more from them. although, i must say that i'm sure junaid who seems like a very nice person must have provided excellent customer service but if the end product does not meet your expectations then there's no point of keeping it. i hope someone takes it off your hands, lara.
i regret that it didnt turn out well for you in the end despite all the waiting you had to do and all the efforts we had to do.
we tried our level best to somehow make it based on your preference specially colors and made decisions about them based on our best judgment at that time.

please elaborate what is delicate embroidery based on your knowledge with examples please.
surely you can expect more and i stand by each and every embroidery/tailoring stitch in the outfit, do note colors and some minor changes in embroidery were made based on laras instructions.
also image is taken very close to/under yellow bulb/light which made considerable difference how it looks sort of compounded the golden color's effect.
i wish lara had posted that as she did hajra hayats with slight distance from light or under white light.
I think the colors are representative of what they are. I wish those Hajra Hayat clothes were taken with more closeup. I think what Dawn is saying about the kaam is similar to the differences in the pictures I sent you regarding "mota" kaam and spacing of kaam.
