what about girls who are forced into this profession? those who are born into this professions? these women didnt have any choice but to be prostitute. shud i judge them harshly for something they do, which was not out of choice? :-/

Firstly Prostitution is wrong
secondly- those who choose to do it willingly need to be punished
however, you cant blame a woman who goes into prostitution because she is poor- in Islam there should be no poverty, no inequality and therefore no prostitution- therefore you shouldnt blame the woman who has been driven into prostitution- but blame the society who has not taken care for her- for Allah will be watching us how we treat others

Same old crappy arguments. There’s nothing wrong with prostitution, it should be legalized, and treated as business. Prostitutes should be taxed (like in the Netherlands). Rates should be controlled (bigger bang for the buck) and inflationary events should be appreciated for setting the price to bang ratio. It is a means for sexually frustrated men to relieve themselves. The only thing wrong about prostitution is that there are no such places for sexually frustrated women to go and relieve themselves. It is an unbalanced world, tilted towards males. Dick is the most powerful thing to have in this world.

There is however a small, but extremely well paid contingent of prostitutes who clearly are not enslaved, but willingly advertise their services. Now when I say well paid, we are talking about $5000 for 12 hours. There are no pimps, no slavery, just an addiction to money, and a lively libido.
Granted its a sin, and I certainly wouldn't want my daughter doing it, but at that level under those circumstances it seems like a rather victimless crime.

Madhanee, it is already lealized. Think of all those women who don’t work and just cook, have babies and get an allowance.

Yaar the gig I was at yesterday beats anything I have ever seen to date. There were a # of bands from all over the place. My son and I got back home just before sunrise. I am totally whacked now.
