Why would I be insecured? Because like anybody here I'm raised a certain way. Somethings you can't change about yourself on how you life your life but somethings you definitely can change in terms of how you look at them the way you were raised to do.
So what are you changing and not changing about your current stance on prostitutes and how you were raised?

Roman - backing out itni jaldi. You say something, then you better explain it. I am curious to see how sincere you are in your comments. If you respected prostitutes, you would marry one. No qualms about it. (given that she repents and becomes a good Islamic wife - you know, reserves those tricks for you)

No, everyone does not deserve appreciation. Everyone deserves to live and be given their privacy, yes. Everyone deserves an economic opportunity to succeed, yes. Everyone deserves to be NOT KILLED. Everyone deserves their own space.
If you respect these ladies, then why not help them get out of their situation?

You can respect, but you don't necessarily have to marry each person you respect.
But my situation was this: You meet a girl, and you LIKE her. In fact, you're ready to send a rishtaa and get the gulab jamuns baking.
She tells you "Jaanu jee, I have a secret to tell you."
You say spellbound by her beautiful personality "Jee, meri Sharmila Tagor"
She says "I've slept with 100 or so guys. I actually afford to wear these clothes because I sell my body".
You said you would not marry this girl.
You said you are insecure.
But you respect prostitutes, and so you at least still respect her after she breaks the news.
But then WHY do you not marry her, if you were already planning on marrying her?
SHe is not the same as Mother Theresa. You didn't have initial plans to take MT to bed with you after a nikkah, and have loads of kids with her. (her old age nonwithstanding).

Treat them humanely, yes. Try to help them get a better job, yes. But no, I wouldn’t respect these ladies, because I don’t approve of their behavior, and there is nothing in their quality that merits respect.
Now, yes, the girl that is a prostitute that does her dire best to escape the brothels - she is to be respected.
